Like in matches where team is chasing bigger target, he should be asked to play fearless cricket to gain momentum. Sometimes I think he could have been sent at 3 against NZ. His 20-30 runs could have killed the chase initially in that case, though he failed at his usual position. If he is made free and asked to play shots fearless he can deliver single handed results quite frequently. tweaker 1 Link to comment

The big tournament pedigree with smarts from dhoni and single handed efforts from Kohli carrying us. Kohli has not really failed. He has provided steady hands against both NZ and Ban. But if others continue to play irresponsibly he will lose patience and then it will be bad. Link to comment
diehardpacer Posted March 25, 2016 Share Posted March 25, 2016 Pandya needs to bat within top 4 with 12 overs left and should be sent with an instruction to hit from 1st ball like against BD.Infact I wouldn't mind him opening,since the pitch is good and with new ball and fielders in,it's probably best time for him to smack some and get the run rate up.Since Dhoni doesn't want to tinker with top 3,best hope is at 4. Raina is done...Whatever he scores is bonus..I think he is only for taking slip catches and greeting the bowler first for taking wicket... Dhawn has a curious case...He should be noway near in t20s but even in odis he has been given so many chances and whenever it looked that he will be dropped he starts performing..
