Also Raina needs to go at no. 6. Both Yuvi and MS need to bat above him. More so in case when we lose early wickets and innings need to be stablized Raina doesn't have game for that situation. chewy Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 with the next two games in bengaluru and mohali, if india qualify as Group 2nd, then game will be in Mumbai, then you have to stick with this trio.potentially India's next 3 games will be on batting friendly wickets.only if India reach finals, to be played in Kolkatta, then this trio could trip up again, but even that wicket wasnt bad as nagpur.so no chance any one of rohit, dhawan and raina being dropped.but agreed with raina he should come in later, if india batting first, then raina should come in with less than 5 over left, and whilst chasing then he should be behind dhoni and yuvraj.

Yuvraj is mentally shot, even on the field he is slow and lethargic. either Yuvraj should come in and attack from ball 1 or be dropped, he hasn't got the game anymore to "settle in" and launch diehardpacer 1

sandeep Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Dhawan and Yuvi are definitely on the bubble. If Pandey was in the squad I'd play him at the top instead of Dhawan in a heartbeat. Dhawan is consistently poor against spin - even in powerplays. Whole world knows it. Its a glaring weakness we are carrying. diehardpacer 1
