Which Indian batsmen will be able to maintain career avg of 50?

Currently none of our batsmen average 50 which can be considered benchmark for batsmen in test cricket. 

 

Rahane - 49

Pujara - 47

Kohli - 45

Vijay - 40

Dhawan - 40

Rohit - 32

Ashwin - 34

 

Pujara has been on decline, Kohli seems to be hovering around 45 for quite some time now and openers around 40.

So far, they appear to be of 40-45 avg level. To go above 50 and remain there, they will have to improve their games .... However, it is good to see Ind's bowlers do well which somewhat negates the relatively low averages

50 is just a number and trivial to be honest. If we keep making the kind of pitches we have seen at home, none of them is going to average 50.

Given the result oriented pitches these days,I don't see anyone averaging 50.

Rahane is probably the most accomplished Test Batsman currently for India and is closest to that mark.

Actually, I would say 45 would make for a pretty good batsman. 50+ is for ATGs. I am more interested in away averages than home as top quality batsmen should be able to adjust to different conditions.

Kohli will average close to 50, n Pujara can

Rohit will play at no 3 in the home series,he has talent to take his avg to almost 60 after all the home series.

He may also break Lara record playing at no 3

He may cange a test in 1 session,imagine if he is able to stay for whole day

Rahane Kohli and Pujara has potential to go above 50 average. Ashwin has potential to reach around 40. Vijay will remain under 50  unless he gets a solid partner.

However if Pujara isnt playing then all our batsman have reached their peak in average. why? Because they will find it difficult to play relatively newer ball and fresher bowlers as was the case in last match against just above Zimbos like Windies. Time and again this script will be repeated
