India, Australia, SA are all probably equally good at the moment.

India is probably better than the other two. When India toured Aus last they drew 2 Tests and with a bit of luck could've won 1 at the very least. And when India toured SA, India was quite competitive. OTOH India swept both Aus & SA when they toured India. India may not be in the class of 80s WI or Aussies of early 2000s but they are the best of the current teams.

It is good to have reclaimed it.  Proud, but still nowhere closer to the team we had in 2009-2011. But, this is a phenomenal achievement for Kohli and his good test side.

This is phenomenal considering this is a young team.....Mark my words, this team will only become better.....

Likes of Nathu singh, Veerpratap, Rajpoot and Ankeit Chowdhary will make this team competitive all round the world.....

Batting is already top-class

Yeah, the team regressed a lot from 2011-2014. Improved more than a fair bit in the last 1.5 years. Lot of scope to improve further.

In all honesty, pakistan's performance was good in england. That was a big achievement . India winning in home series against tourists to get to the top doesnt really feel that satisfying. .just sayin

don't forgot to add your compulsory whitewash in Australia in December, i though Pak record vs India in WC was embarrassing, but soon it seems will be 12 straight wins for Aus v Pak in Aus.  You haven't even drawn a tests in Australia in over two decades

I predict pak in bottom half of the rankings by end of year.

Apparently Pakistani can't. Couldn't beat SL, SA and the same NZ team India swept the floor with.

Its in your hand. Win We just won 2-0 against Windies. Pakistan has a golden opportunity to settle it by a 3-0 win against Windies and take the number 1 spot.
