India takes back number one test ranking from Pakistan in just over a month

India beat NZ at Eden Gardens to take a unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series.They also took back the number one test ranking.

In all honesty, pakistan's performance was good in england. That was a big achievement . India winning in home series against tourists to get to the top doesnt really feel that satisfying. .just sayin

Team India has now won the last 4 test series ( against 4  different teams )  we have played ......2 of them overseas....to reach No. 1 in tests.

 

We have  won 9 of the last 10 completed test matches we have played.

Now see all the worms will appear from their hibernation .People like Ian Chappell and British press along with host of Indian moronic sports writers demean this achievement and how flawed the ranking system is and how ICC is spineless in organizing test championship to determine the true no1 team.

Well done, well deserved. Currently best nation in Tests closely followed by England. 

 

What's good is the team isn't playing to its full potential. Will feel sorry for the opposition the day when Vijay, Pujara, Kohli and Rahane all fire in one innings!

 

Now to fully consolidate the No.1 spot in the long home season.
