Plenty of pace options for ODIs. There'll be Bumrah, Dhaval, Aaron, Hardik and a couple of rookies can be considered too. Ishant might also get a game or two as a warm up for the next test series.

Ishant Aaron Dhawal and hardik on Indian pitches now m more scared.

and trolling aside, Ishant, Lokesh Rahul, Dhawan, Bhuvi.... the injuries/misfortunes are all piling up.

Openers and pacers. India will be very wise to keep Shami well rested. No point in him playing the LOI with a busy test schedule.

I do hope India try Shardul. I think we know what Umesh can bring to the table. I expect spinners to do most of the heavy lifting. Worth a shot in resting Shami and playing Shardul and Umesh. Shardul has the potential to go allout in bursts of 4 overs or so.

I think this injury to Bhuvi highlights India need a big depth of pace bowlers. Need a depth of 6-7 in tests and 6-7 in LOI.  Its ok at home when the spinners are in charge.

Red meat and whey protein. Poor guy tried to reverse swing for 3 overs and hurt his back

yeah cause meat eating bowlers like Shami have never got injured for long lengths or periods before.

So many injuries and this is just the start of a long home season :wall:. Hope Bhuvi gets back soon. He needs to work on his fitness and put on some muscle if he wants to play tests. With a fitness freak like Kohli leading the team don't think any player will take fitness lightly.

Nature of injuries are different.
