Tibarn Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 He is useful in exposing the hypocrites and pseudos among the general population. Certain people hate him only because he advocates secularism in Islam. These same people tell us that "secularism", or rather the pseudo-secularism that we get, is the best thing to ever happen to Hindus. That being said, I personally dislike him as he has the gall to trumpet Tipu Sultan as an Indian hero. He is also a self-proclaimed Marxist, so I doubt he would be beneficial in the long run. chewy and jalebi_bhai 2
beetle Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 My dad forced me to watch this. The guy is a performer and an entertainer. An extremist Indophile. Give him citizenship ad send ten people to Canada in his place.

Exactly my thoughts. Someone who says that he'd vote for the terrorist supporting CPI(M) if he were given Indian citizenship is someone I personally would never trust. Big red flag (pun not intended). He is an entertaining frenemy and should be treated likewise.

Good point. He was actually jailed in Pak and has been exposing Pak army since a long time in Canada He could probably get killed in Pak. It is not possible to agree 100% with everyone but he has been showing the way esp when it comes to Ind-Pak relationship, Balochistan issue, Secularism in Islam, etc, and therefore should be seen as a thought leader

And we know that Tariq is fighting against terrorism so who knows by supporting CPI(M), he could bring a change in the party's thought process
