maniac Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Just now, Vilander said: except for a smattering of baby fat at the tummy and triple chin. Having fat is not unfit always....You don't need toned 6 pack in gyms to be fit.....I have seen some rickshaw pullers or workers who lift rice bags have some fat on them who can run circles around those Gold Gym fake bodies when it comes to strength and stamina. Scoring 264 over 50 overs singlehandedly in the calcutta heat and then coming back to do fielding requires some monumental fitness. tweaker 1

velu Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 @maniac if you have access to Rohits medical record ( we are sure you have ) , can you update us ?
asterix Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Another solid opening innings by the MI Captain. Steady performance innings after innings. Giving enough momentum for the remaining batsmen to build on and won the match. tweaker 1

sandeep Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 I don't care about his non-chiselled looks. But 4 straight ODI failures is not what's accepted from an India ODI opener. Top 3 slots in Indian batting are for the studs who bat big at a very high consistency rate. We don't need lottery tickets at the top of the order, particularly ones that almost always get off to a slow start. I still believe in Rohit as an ODI opener, but he keeps giving reasons why he is a lightning rod for criticism. Ankit_sharma03 and tweaker 2

Rohit is a freak specimen...a beast....16 6's in a game....264 in that heat...just like Usain Bolt and Michael phelps,he is one of those super human athletes Edited October 26, 2016 by maniac tweaker 1

Someone who has scored a 264 is special, if not for your lol posts many more people in this forum at-least would post favorably on Rohit, many dig at Rohit just to counter troll you. In ODI he needs to be persisted with esp in India, but he is is of very little value in Tests. And he is fat needs to get mean and fit. sscomp32 and tweaker 2

Malcolm Merlyn Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Quote An upper thigh injury has ruled out Rohit Sharma for the whole of the five-Test series against England beginning in Rajkot from November 9. “Rohit Sharma is seriously injured as we saw on television. He will be assessed in England and may have to undergo surgery. If he doesn’t have to undergo surgery he may need eight to 10 weeks. He will be out of the Test series,” chairman of selectors MSK Prasad said after the committee meeting in Mumbai on Wednesday. Rohit had injured himself while batting during the final ODI against New Zealand in Visakhapatnam. He continued to bat on even after he picked up the injury and that could have aggravated it further. “He was finding it difficult to run and so we had asked him to go for his shots,” limited overs skipper MS Dhoni was quoted as saying after India wrapped up the five-match series 3-2 with an emphatic 190-run win last week. KL Rahul, who had suffered a hamstring injury after the first Test against New Zealand, is yet to recover and has also been left out of the squad. Gautam Gambhir had replaced Rahul in the squad during the series and the Delhi southpaw is likely to feature in the playing XI as well against England. http://www.hindustantimes.com/cricket/rohit-sharma-injury-to-be-assessed-in-england-ruled-out-of-test-series/story-b6deI7nf15UefZdYWqsIXP.html Is this a blessing in disguise for team India? tweaker 1
