Cricketics Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 With him being injured at a very crucial time when he wasn't having a great run, it looks tough for him to be back in 4th test as Parthiv will play in 3rd and unles Parthiv plays horribly, Saha won't be coming back in the series. Australia comes in next and by that time,India would have surely thought about a future wicket keeper. I honestly do not see him playing again and he might be unlucky there as he is still the best keeper for me, better than many who might play in his absence. What do you guys feel?

coffee_rules Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I think DK was not chosen because of possible tension in the dressing room. DK would have been better than PP.

BCCI need to answer why Naman Ojha wasn't chosen as he is part of India A and already played a test in absence of Saha earlier. cowboysfan, Ironhide, Vilander and 1 other 4

When Dhoni called it quits, Saha was part of the Indian set up and hence he bagged him and continued with him even when lot of players were calling for him to be dropped. Look at someone like Umesh, his inconsistency has tested Dhoni and Kohli and he could have been easily dropped, but I bet you Umesh is bowling much better now. He is also playing games on consistent basis for India then before under Dhoni. This is what you call proper chance. G_B_ and adi B 2

Vijy Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Saha will be back - Pappu will most likely drop more chances.
Stuge Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Pappu will only lasts till he doesn't drop catches or miss stumpings. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

I personally would like to see him back. We are just predicting how it might go since he got injured at a crucial time when Pant has gained popularity and major support etc. Hopefully, Saha is back fit in 4th test. beetle 1
CG Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Only idiots will think like that for the guy who averages over 45 this year and played some test match saving knocks. MCcricket, sandeep, Brainfade and 1 other 4
Unleashed Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Kumble said in his interview yesterday that Saha is still the first choice. Interestingly also said that DK wasn't considered because due to some reason he isn't keeping wickets for TN. MCcricket 1
