kosingh Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 In the last 12 months he has played only 5 games, but is still averaging 50+ in that period, despite his 2 failures this series. He is here to stay for a while, unfortunately. And in the last 24 months he is averaging 40. G_B_ 1
fineleg Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Just like cricketics recommends longer rope for dilli and punjab players, same way Kohli is giving Dilli-wala Dhawan longer rope. Selectors MSK Prasad need to be sacked, and Kohli need to kick Dhawan out of 11 and out of the squad eventually.

sandeep Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) Ungrateful fans. Sure he's struggling. But he has delivered for us often. And his ODI record is still very good. His replacement KL hasn't exactly lit things up either in the last 2 games. And Pant has done nothing yet at the international level. I'm not a big believer in Dhawan. In fact he should probably go to the Champs Trophy too- lets face it, who else can be there as opener, even with Rohit back and Rahul in the squad we need one more.. Manish Pandey isnt an opener I know he has done it a bit in IPL but shouldn't in ODIs. Rahane isn't an ODI player so for me The only other options are Mandeep, or Mukund- Mandeep should have been in the squad but I defo think Shikar is a better bat Edited January 19, 2017 by Sooda sandeep 1
