IPL EFFECT:CSK XI to RCB XI when will we actually play a India XI?

When Dhoni was captaining we will get 5-6 players of CSK in XI.Now Kohli has brought 5-6 players of RCB.IPL team love is effecting national team now.

Something needs to be done.

Who are the RCB players that don't deserve to be in the team?

 

Rahul- one of our best prospects. He was terrific last IPL, including being among the leaders in 6s hit, although the Chinnaswamy is a small ground.

Chahal- he's consistently been among the wicket leaders the last few IPLs. There's no harm playing him, especially since he was already selected for that ZIM tour earlier. It even makes sense to play him over Kuldeep, because we've seen Chahal perform in T20s. Kuldeep, unfortunately, can't seem to get a consistent run for KKR, so we don't know how good he would be in T20s.  

Mandeep- He got a chance to play a T20 series in ZIM, and he performed... How does it make sense to throw out a player when they performed well enough in the only chances they got?

Rasool- He's also been in our squad before, but he hasn't gotten chances to play. He played 1 ODI match and picked up 2 wickets in it.  

 

So we have 2 of our better prospects for T20s and 2 young players that haven't gotten many chances, but who have performed in the chances they've gotten.More importantly, all four of them were in our squad, for various tours, before Virat even became captain. I'm sure if these guys don't perform, then they will be dropped.

Rahul had to be given chance. You can not drop our future prospect without playing him the first game and giving so many seniros a chance. Now with series on the line after this, changes can be made and Rahul could be dropped.

I am a huuge Yuvi fan. Want him to play in ODIs, he is no longer fit for T20s. I cannot imagine how can Virat and selectors not see the simple fact that he can no longer hit from ball one. Is no longer a top 3 fielder in the side. Is not a bowler anymore. 

Dhoni should have retired from T20s 3 years ago. 

Nehra was dealt unfairly when he was dropped after 2011 WC. But he is done now - does not bring anything that other younger bowlers cant provide.  But I am OK if this is his retirement series.

Raina - a mystery. Was teh backbone of our batting till 2014 then a sudden fall. Want to give him chances to see if he will do better.

Rasool - Kick him out
