Players like Dhoni, Yuvraj, Raina, Nehra will always occasionally produce the odd brilliant performance however over the long run their will be more failures than winning matches for India. raki05 1

express bowling Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) To be fair, we have been doing very well in test matches in the last 15 months under Kohli-Kumble and have won the last ODI series too, despite England playing well and having a good ODI team. Let us not be over-critical after one T20I loss. Only thing I want improved is introducing talented youngsters more readily in LOIs. We have been winning with this team in Odis and T20 because we are playing at home, if we continue like this the team will stagnate. Hopefully Kohli realises his mistakes soon. The guy has good batting skills but his ego, superstar mentality and backroom politics may take Indian cricket in the wrong direction. Never ever even with Sachin in the team, it never felt like any player is bigger than the team but for this once it feels like players are bigger than the team. Kohli is openly doing favoritism and having Yuvraj, Sharma and played of his backing in the team. What is the use of the coach? What courage and confidence does the support team have now? It was Raina and Yusuf Pathan who were contenting for no.7 and Raina pipped him. We already had Yuvi as left arm spinner in the XI.

Yuvi was in the XI as a batsman who can bowl ,so never had an need for a left arm spinner then. Jadeja was never in contention for 2011 WC .And Jadeja wasn't injured, just wasn't never in contention. Yusuf was initially ahead of Raina because he had scored a 100 in SA.So was mainly in as the batsmen .Once struggled during league games Raina came back in.Raina is the player Dhoni backed most in his career if anything. We always played the 7 batsmen combo until the new rules came in post 2011 WC.

Some people express it like Virat and then we we got some snakes who act like they care but we know what they do behind with their Mumbai chamchas....
