India's blunt spearhead

Part of that amazing bowling unit... its ok guys, you can repalce him with the spraygun or the green pitch bully...

it will help ABD and Amla improve their averages :yahoo:

Lmao, fan from a country where Amir is considered a super star based on one single season in England 7 years back is calling other country bowlers as green track bullies

Or, you know, when he ripped out your hearts in the champions trophy. :phehe: On a serious note, I already know Amir is also a green track bully... I can't deny it, but

can you deny that kumar is a green track bully? even your coach and captain only play him on helpful pitches... doesn't that say it all?

I'm sure you guys don't call Anderson a green track bully (sarcasm).

As I said, any bowler who can roll his arms can defend 350+. But that is somehow an amazing performance that he took 3 wickets after your team has scored 350+. And then he went missing all other matches like the NZ series. That is how far your bowling standards have fallen

BK averages 26 in India. Your boy averages over 35 in most countries. Who is the green track bully?

Tbf when other bowlers like shami arnt bowling well the captain simply bowls him less, when ishant doesnt bowl well the captain still looks to get 15+ overs a day out of him. He can be used as a workhorse type bowler which is why is average is higher than it should be, and shami cant be used as a workhorse which is why his average is lower than it should be.

Imo bumrah and Bk (batting plus new ball skills) should play every match and yadav, shami, and ishant should compete for the third spot.

good for a 37 avg minus kolkata, right in line with ur spearhead 36.5 and spray gun 36

even ur captain knows hes a green track bully

i'll give u guys some credit, bumrah has looked good this series. :flowers:

He is a whole different bowler than 2013 and you know it. He has increased his pace, bowls a heavy bowl, learnt to seam and reverse. Unlike Amir who is stuck n 2010

Even then 37 average is still better than Amir's average in Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and UAE. How can any premium bowler average more than 43 in UAE, Sri Lanka and Australia?

he is pacier than before i guess, but even 1st match vs south africa he only bowled average of 131 kph, hardly quick and that was on a green pitch, otherwise that is total cannon fodder for quality non subcontinent batsmen

a bowler cant reverse swing well at such low pace and it hardly reverse swings on the green pitches which kumar exclusively plays on.

all this sounds like ur saying he's better than he actually is. if he was so great, why isnt kohli selecting him to play outside of green pitches?

yaar you r to much worrying about amir. even Pak fans don't hold him that high anymore... we only see him as a complementary bowler now. Hasan Ali is the hot prospect now...

You do know it's common sense that you don't need to bowl fast on green pitches? Steyn regularly bowls 140+ in tests but when it really swings he bowls at 130s. BK was in the 120s during 2013 and hence he would not be able to pick up wickets, now his pace is more than sufficient.

Amir is Still the first bowler on the list

You have still not brought up BK's stats without Kolkata post 2013.

Why isn't Kohli selecting Rahul and Rahane on these pitches? Kohli works in mysterious ways
