They've bowled well, especially Hassan Ali. Credit to them.

 

In the last three games, they've turned it around from the 30th over onwards.

 

If we make the finals and win the toss, we should chase. Pak won't be sure what target to post. Might collapse in the pursuit of runs.

Bowling in the middle overs. They are playing to their strengths by filling their side with too many specialist bowlers

Batting wise they were a bit lucky.

Not taking any credit away from the way they have played but also they have won the toss every single game I believe except against South Africa

They got rid of loser players like Wahab, Shazad etc. and got good replacements. Even Amir's replacement Raees is a good bowler.

 

Luck favours Pakistan a lot... They're luck not to bat first in most of the matches...

I think what works pak is just go and play cricket. Against india they had a plan and they just went by the plan, after that they just played like pak does.

As usual their bowling was good. Also they got rid of idiots. The current crop's talent is somewhat limited but are sensible and spirited. Also they have a captain who doesn't make headlines for the wrong reasons.

Fast bowling of Amir and hassan Ali (also junaids chucking) was the difference, one more proof that u need to have quality pacer to win matches even in the shorter formats, also that aggressive fukhar who stands ready to hit the ball from the word go.

Bold team selections... Imean would any other team make debuts in an any tournament knockout game or Semi-Finals... +Pak middle overs bowling has been much better than other teams +Sarfraz kept on improving with every game...

Having said that Pak has played a good cricket in parts. Whatever it is, congratulations to the team and the fans. I hope they try hard to win CT now.

I would give the biggest credit to the selectors. They have shown more spine than even Indian selectors for the first time. 

Are all the new players match winners? No, but they have the novelty factor and hare to play against players you've never played before. 

And if the selectors show spine, oldies will play fir their spot and out effort in.

Exactly, if we stop selecting players on form that they displayed in 2011, and praise one  good inning in 5 games, and act like that they are still World Class players, it will bite us in the ass.

I agree but the thing is with Pakistan the selectors had no choice but to move on because the seniors have been failing for like 5 years since 2011...

for India our seniors have performed atleast Dhoni has...  Yuvi is the only one left now.   Bhajji is done /  Nehra is done / Zak is done / Munaf is done.   The only pieces left are Yuvi and Dhoni but I think we need to experiment with breaking the playing 11 from time to time  - Shami is being used as a passenger ,  Ashwin is not being utilized.    What the Pakistan team is doing right is they are choosing a different playing 11 for each game   - Horses for courses.   We need to be on the same track  - India tends to play the same 11 regardless of the condition and the opposition - which isn't very smart tbh
