There is a serious dreath of quality middle order bats in India atm . yes you can fill these slots with some of these batsmen who are hyped as "talents" after every years IPL , but I dont see that potential in any batsmen who can replace Yuvi , Dhono or even Raina . 

 

Sarfaraz is one player who could have may be developed , but seems like he has other issues .

At minimum we need Yuvraj gone. He was a limited overs great for India and we all love him, but most fans are gonna end up hating him instead if he sticks around. He already cost us 1WT20 and aside from 1 or 2 innings, he consistently under performs. 

 

Dhoni should play until Pant is ready to take over as WK. After that, we can see if he is fit to play as a pure batsman.

Yuvraj career should have ended after his selfish and pathetic performance in T20 final. And Dhoni replacement process should have started from 2015. It's 2-3 years of missed opportunity.

For me finishing is a serious skill you are born with, either you have it or you dont and not something any one can develop .
