For the Windies series, Selectors should have rested Dhoni ,Yuvraj ,Ashwin ,Jadeja ,Rahane. kubrickian Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Yuvi has Kohli's backing. He will play 2019 WC for sure and it will be his final World Cup. Same with Dhoni. Rahane seems to be earmarked as the floater or backup batsman for opener or No.4. Squad can have 15 players anyway, so we can expect pretty much the same squad for CT to play World Cup, barring 1 or 2 changes. Perhaps Kuldeep for Ash/Jaddu and Pant for DK. That's it. Where is the question of these "yongsta booties" finding a place in the squad ?

Yuvi , Jadeja , Ashwin Need to be taken out as soon as possible. Sharma/Dhawan should be told - either perform or let Pant/ Rahul/Gambhir come in and replace them

The man is a walking wicket.

Again my confidence or opinion of Gambhir may not be a popular opinion but I do think the guy definitely has a lot more cricket left in him, I think he can definitely give it another shot
