Can't blame selectors they have selected youngsters for A teams and in the international side...they can't pick the starting line up.

cant blame Kumble now either...so simple equation

I don't mind Dhoni playing until the 2019 w/c , actually with Kohli as a captain , more of a reason to have Dhoni around - Kohli's captaincy is a wreck.

Yuvi , Jadeja , Ashwin  Need to be taken out as soon as possible.

Sharma/Dhawan should be told - either perform  or let  Pant/ Rahul/Gambhir come in and replace them

So what you are saying is someone should be there to do babysitting for him......When the babysitter himself should not be selected on his latest performance.

Pradeep sangwan could be a good choice. Hit the deck left armer variety and a big hitter down the lower order. Worth in Gold if he clicks.

From what I have seen so far, thampi reminds me of agarkar , ability to pick wickets Yorkers and a decent technically suitable lower order batsman.

What we need are couple of wicket taking fast bowlers who can also bowl well on flat tracks and at the death. Bhuvi, Bumrah are decent ODI bowlers but I wont back them to take wickets with new ball or old ball. Shami is good but he has injury issues. Umesh has wicket taking ability but he can be wayward and expensive.

Fast bowlers in overseas conditions have the ability to win you matches because they can take wickets. Spinners wont do much damage. But its in this department where Indian team is lacking and bound to be shown up on some days.

Yeah was very impressed with sangwan in IPL ,a left armer bowling 145-146 k regularly would trouble any batsmen,he got smith out with a nasty bouncer in one of the matches too.

I agree. On flat pitches, you need the xfactor to take wickets with new ball. Like Mohammed aameer or starc. We don't have that quality yet.

MSK should get his back kicked. He fuc*ed up the trophy.

It was still winnable despite the selections. The playing xi was more of the problem.

It was winnable but selecting Dhoni, Yuvraj, Ashwin. He bears responsibility for that.

Yeah but what was done was done. Selecting Ashwin in the final after the abysmal matches he had against south Africa and Bangladesh was more the culprit.

Problem is sangwan isn't treated as special and he isn't either. So he should come back by some hard work like Liam plunkett did. He grew the body and pace like plunkett..needs eye catching performances
