Manish Pandey should be given a proper run in ODIs at #4

I hve serious questions about his game against spinners specially when pitches are slow

Also the guy does well in A-games but doesnt capatilize when playing international 

 

Last 15 games he avg 27 with only 1-50, he has only himself to blame

I hope the selectors are smarter than to go back to Manish Pandey immediately after nearly two years of mediocrity.

He hasn't entirely capitalised on his opportunities but also not been given a long consistent run in one position. I do feel he should be in the next squad.

Pandey is not the solution to our middle order when we already have to bear the load of dhoni's slow strike rate and his moody batting nowadays ,rather pandey and dhoni together in any team is a disaster in the modern game .

we've got to look at other young options like gill,pant

I am still ok with him in ODIs but an absolute no in T20s. Give him 5-7 matches in a row and see how he performs, if he performs acc to match situation and not for his selfish stats and his SR is good then he should be persisted else discard.

   I think Gill did not use this series fully . Had 2 very good starts , should have coverted atleast one into big one. Today even a 50+ would have carried a big weightage in pushing his case. He would have been top 2-3 contenders or future selections jumping ahead of Iyer, Jadhav, Ambati , Samson had he used this series . 

Need to pile up runs to put serious pressure on selectors. 

Lets hope does well AUS A 4 days game.

  Yes big big releif . Lets hope he piles on big amount of runs this domestic seasion. 

  I know he wont get a chance till WC19. But right after WC 19 , he should aget a permanent spot in 50 overs opening the batting and a series contender in test team too.
