Dhoni certainly is the best batsman of the three although pollock would give Dhoni a run for his money based on his current form. Don't ever do that. Pollock is easily the best batsman of the three. ;) Also a legend who was overshadowed by Donald. In talks of legends why does dhoni slip in? Laaloo 1

mancalledsting Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 OMG! The nerve of these posters to call other people chamchas. Dhoni did nothing in the game today and still a thread/commenting positively about him. Good contenders for besharam of the century award. Laaloo and New guy 2
Shunya Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 More detailed winning hit stats in ODI(as per the public demand and because some people are getting triggered ) Players who have hit most sixes as winning shot in ODIs 9 times - MS Dhoni 4 times - Flintoff, Hussey, Lara(Stats before 2001 not included) 3 times - ABDevilliers, Afridi 2 times - Lots. Current players include Kohli, Bhajji, Faulkner, Mushfiq Rahim, Shoaib Malik, Eoin Morgan Overall, Dhoni has now hit winning/tie runs 42 times in his career ODI - 29 times(out of 44 times he stayed not out while chasing in wins) Finished with a Six - 9 times Finished with a Four - 9 times Finished- other - 11 times T20I - 10 times(out of 14 times he stayed not out while chasing in wins) Finished with a Six - 3 times Finished with a Four - 3 times Finished-Other - 4 times Test - 3 times(Out of 4 times he stayed not out while chasing in wins) Finished with a Six - 1 time Finished with a Four - 2 times That is winning a match with four or six - 27 times. All of these are records in themselves unless otherwise proven. What a legend @sscomp32 Please upload the video of 27 sixes and fours - winning shot compilation if you have time. maniac Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Dhoni is the living proof that averages in limited overs cricket is a useless stat for the most part.
Vilander Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Best strike rate in the game as well. Well done :) Shunya, velu and Rasgulla 1 2
Khota Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 The most important fact is that single handed one man has kept so many talented people from playing for the team. That is a record. On a serious note if Shastri has any shame he will rest the grandfather and let Karthick play three games as wkt kpr/batsman. This is injustice to Kathick for all the hard work he has done. velu, New guy and Laaloo 2 1

jalebi_bhai Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Another underrated record of Dhoni; only Indian captain to lose a series to Bangladesh (2-1 in 2015). Laaloo, adi B, Mosher and 3 others 5 1

Not a single series won (home or away) as captain until the T20 series in Australia in 2016. That's like 7 continuous series(including WC) lost in a row. Is that also a record Dhoni has set? kira 1

Probably. Remember that t20 against Zimbabwe we also lost becuase dhoni wanted to stay not out. We won the series anyways but that was a bad loss against a lowly team. Not once but twice axar Patel put dhoni to shame #gujju power

Now tell us how many times sachin got out to trudlers.. Bet it's somewhere between 90% to 99%.. He used to deny singles when Styen used to bowl to other batsmen..
