Malcolm Merlyn Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) BK is a very limited and avg bowler. While he may have had a purple patch of sorts in last 12-18 months, he was again exposed today. His overall career avg shows how mediocre he is. He is the weakest link and India must play someone like Shami in his place. Edited October 30, 2017 by Laaloo sandeep, Laaloo, Peshust and 3 others 1 5
tweaker Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 He should have been rested for this series. He is playing all formats
maniac Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 He is being overbowled...most improved cricketer...one off bad day...he will be critical in South Africa..not sure why he is playing every game. Laaloo, beetle, RAZPOR and 1 other 4

Nikhil_cric Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Playing too much cricket across all formats. Our bowlers will all suffer from burn out if they play non stop in tests , ODIs,T20's ,FC and IPL as well. beetle and Mosher 2
maniac Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) Shami has done nothing to be dropped..while I agree Bhuvi and Bumrah moved ahead of him in the pecking order...he could have easily been rotated...there is absolutely no planning Edited October 29, 2017 by maniac Laaloo and Mosher 2
jusarrived Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I dont think hes bowled badly here , on a pitch where 350 is probably par you would expect things may not always go right for bowlers . beetle 1

vvvslaxman Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 On pitches like this you need bowlers who can take pitch out of the equation. Neither Boult nor Bhuvneshwar can do that. Especially when a hack like Munro comes off. Turning_track 1

He had just one really bad over which included overthrows. You are making sweeping judgement when on a flat pitch last game he bowled excellently and his two wickets out of three were despite the pitch Edited October 29, 2017 by New guy beetle 1
New guy Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 @Malcolm Merlyn lol, if one bad spell, that too one really bad over is enough to judge then Yadav is a mujre wali who has made it a habit of being violated every single LOI match he plays tweaker and beetle 1 1

I just say he can have bad days on pitches like this. But you cannot pick bowlers for each specific scenarios. Overall Bhuvneshwar is doing a good job. His IPL ER is also always good. beetle 1

Bumrah in CT final and other matches. Shami, Yadav. Last match on a flat pitch when BK bowled excellently no one said anything. RAZPOR Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 One off day doesnt make him a bad bowler.wtf people.... Also cheerleaders constantly bringing shami, yadav in to such discussions, when they arent even part of Odi squad You are no better for doing such. Mosher, beetle and express bowling 3

Atleast stats suggest that. What are the career stats of BK?
