Well done to Shreyas too. I was worried for him when he played his first boundary over mid on for a boundary hitting it in the air.

After that he was composed, ran well, found gaps with ease, built a great partnership with Rohit. I want to see him find his way in tough tracks too.

Keep up the good work. :clap2:

Risk and reward

need someone who comes in at 4 and is busy and looking to be progressive . May fit the bill . Unlike jadhav quick and athletic . Could be good addition

Brilliant knock today, alredy looked better than jadav, manish and rahane, played spinners really well and  what I liked today is his urgency for singles, he will always have kohli on the other end who also likes the same, so kohli and shreyas partnership can be superhit, we should stick with this guy even if he fail against quality attacks, he needs Rohit type backing and good results will follow.

His acceleration and changing of gears once set reminds me of the batsman on the other end. Here is an old thread from IPL Forum.

Did we have two Rohits playing together today....:giggle:

Two things in him was definitely international class...crisply timed strokes and singles maneuvering against spinners.

Still long way to go

Have been saying that he has the numbers in domestic to walk in to any test team in  the world atm.

Still would like to see him play against quality fast bowlers or bowlers who bowl faster than 145.
