We are badly missing the likes of Dhoni who can play an anchor role and sail/guide our team towards the shore safely !!! Time and again Dhoni anchored when we were 50/5 or 70/6 and converted our scores to 280/8 or 230 a.o in many ODIs ( and even in T20s he anchored quite a good number of times ). If dhoni is doing it in LOIs even now , he might have done even better in the last test. Dhoni doesn't have the defensive technique to anchor in test, where bowlers attack all day long with 3 slips and a gully. Not even in the subcontinent can he anchor against a good attack. Not a huge drawback, but let's not make him out to be something he is not
