Temujin Khaghan Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 holding's logic: if a batsman does well in fast bowling conditions and not so well in spin bowling conditions then these are not the right conditions for the batsman or the home team has made designer pitches. But if the vice-versa is the case, then that batsman doesn't deserve to play cricket.

How many west-indies players joined the Packer league ( in the the late 70s) and missed their home matches? Believe Mr.Holding himself was one such beneficiary
maniac Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 You either get. Sunil Gavaskar or a Michael Holding lol...and nothing in between Sunil Gavaskar- A legend and a very good analyst but a BCCI stooge Holding- Another legend and a very good analyst but an out and out hater adi B and Rightarmfast 2
mishra Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Holding was so much worried about safety of South African bats without realising it was them who prepared the pitch where we forefieted the game as BCCI had no say http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/17178/scorecard/63162/west-indies-vs-india-4th-test-india-tour-of-west-indies-1975-76/ Could his anti India comments be mapped all the way back to 1976 series? Considering pre/during/post match politics in that forefiet, No wonder BCCI must have unofficially barred Lloyd and Holding on behalf of Gavaskar/Bedi Edited January 30, 2018 by mishra
mishra Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 ^ignorance is bliss. Now i will be suspicious of his advises and praises for good

He always took a sly dig at Indian stars and performances of Indians.

Would be interesting if some day someone throws the bloodbath at sabina park if he starts giving moral, ethical or pitch type lessons. Someone like Harsha should do his homework and make him apologise on live tele.

I daresay, as much as I hate him, maybe only Ravi shastri has the guts to counter idiots like holding. And Sunny. I think even Kumble would. Switchblade 1
motomaverick Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Lol I just watched the video I posted above again. The genius asks why does IPL never clash with India's international schedule. Why the hell would one of India's domestic tournaments clash with an India bilateral series? Kounsa sasta nasha karta hai yeh? Edited January 30, 2018 by motomaverick Laaloo and express bowling 2
