Sehwag isn't intelligent either to be honest. He has been more dumb since retirement.

Sehwag's cricketing IQ is up there with the best imo. Would have made a very interesting captain . He would not have had a great career if it were not for his intelligence considering that he lacked a sound technique.

Sehwag has variable cricketing acumen. He’s probably the most talented player ever and never lived up to his full potential. I know he achieved a lot but still not to his unique potential. I remember in the Centurion test vs South Africa in 2010 he hit the ball straight to backward point in the air when there was a fielder there...... like seriously zero brains. He has a somewhat unprofessional approach, as evidenced by his waistline over the years. I believe he hates pressure and playing for India must have been the most intense pressure.

it was a dumb move to send Ashwin up the order- he’s just not a dynamic enough player to batt consistently at a high SR. The think tank got Carried away with narines success

I guess, sehwag is playing smartly here.

First, leak the news to the media to have people on his side, while people abase the beleaguered actress.

Second, deny such 'rumour' based report to thwart any 'shuck' by preity on sehwag being behind all these leaks.

Well played viru, learning the desideratum for the job quite fast. :cheer:

Pretty Zinta has the right to question being promoter of Kings 11. Yes, she does not has 1 percent cricketing ability but so what. Does one really has to be programmer to criticize Microsoft Windows? Does one has to be a Marketing head to criticize bad marketing strategies.

Criticism of staff has to happen away from media, in team meetings. It was totally wrong off Pretty though to do these discussions in front of camera men.

Owner put in money so will ask questions , so if preity zinta produces a film n it tanks the financer will ask her question. But its sports, Owner shud knw where to draw the line. Since most of them has no idea about sports it wnt happen , coz they feel embarrassed when their team looses and they are made fun of in their circles for it.

Regd this case- Zinta shud understand her team has done well, few losses is due to failure of 3 big players- finch, miller n yuvraj also new investment mayank aggarwal. After the auction she shud hve knwn it is a poor fielding side so some games will be lost in fielding itself. Also didnt they bought yuvi n gayle for MKT purpose only...to their luck gayle came good

But it's true there's a lot of questionable tactics that have been followed by the management. Like dropping Mayank Agarwal, Rajpoot during the critical stage of the tournament, and changing the batting order. They don't have a lot of good players within their squad and they should have already finalized their team by now and back them up in such important stage of the tournament. Now they need to win 3 out of 4 games and if they miss out on playoffs this will be on Sehwag and Ashwin.

nothing wrong in trying something new . When they signed ashwin they knew he will try out of box things so they shud be ready for ideas to fail as well. An idea doesnt guarntee a success .

mayank has done nothing to even keep his place

hows it on sehwag n ashwin- only 3-4 players are doing well , what can they do . Ashwin captaincy has been very good

IPL is not just sports but sports and entertainment like WWE. This and yesterday's incident with Dhoni flaying his arms might be just what the IPL and Indian public want - More drama. It sure made ICF more active. Just what the doctor ordered :hysterical:

She is the owner She can question. As a fan even we questioned and made fun of that decision.

No, she can't question sehwag on cricketing tactics, she can fire him and hire a new coach but she surely can't question sehwag on cricketing matters, she doesn't know jack about cricket
