Best part about Anderson is his record against top batsmen. Have seen Sachin, Kallis, Kohli, Clarke, Sanga, Ponting, Smith, Sehwag, Amla, Younis...all elite batsmen of the modern era struggling against him for most parts. Big big plus when you evaluate his overall career.

When Kohli was bashing anderson in India then all english commentators were saying kohli was great "in these conditions", we should also call jimmy a great swing bowler but only in "these" conditions

A fast bowler  who has nearly 600 wickets is an ATG period. No 2 ways. Sure you can compare apples to apples with other ATGs and make a case for who was better but Jimmy Anderson is an ATG. Calling him GTB etc is embarrassing.
