No team travels well nowadays, why pick on India, questions Ravi Shastri

Asked how important it is for India to win the series in Australia, Shastri said: "You have got to learn from your mistakes. When you go overseas and when you look at teams that travel around now, there aren't too many sides (that travel well).

"Australia did for some time in the 90's and during the turn of century. South Africa did it for a while and other than these two, in the last five-six years, you tell me which team has travelled well. Why pick on India?" questioned Shastri.

Wow, very interesting interview! So B Arun was bevda's drinking buddy from his teenage years. Is that why he was preferred over Zak? Bevda talked about divorce talk being false but his own claims regarding g that turned out to be false. A brat from teenage years, used to having his way and making bold faced claims which fall flat on their face - no wonder he is Kohli's soul mate.

Seriously disappointing views from the coach. How will the team move forward if the coach is satisfied with losing away series because others are not winning either.

If earlier we were stuck with Dhoni and his 'away tours are part of the process and just for learning' view which dragged us back on our last away tour cycles, now these views from the coach will ensure we remain satisfied with the home wins and dont target a win in SENA countries.

On one hand you have teams believing when they have 48 to defend for 7 wickets to put their heart in bowling effort and on other hand you have losers who feel that everyone is failing to it's ok.

How will a team win if you start with such mentality?

They are professionals and are paid to win matches ... The days of "you win some, lose some" is long gone.

As a baseball coach said, "winning isnt everything, its the only thing"

I was okay with losing becuase they were competing and winning away takes some luck too. They lost lot of their tosses. But this kind of mentatlity is harmful to the the team and this guy needs to go.
