Top 3 do not fire big & rest of the batting Huff's& puffs to a total of 240-265 range & opposition plays smartly to reach target. OR 2. Opposition makes more than 270 +& top 3 go early. Rayudu, Dhoni, DK can never get us 100+ in last 10 overs. Imagine us being 170/3 after 30, Mx we will get to is 325 unless Pandya plays a blinder. Same scenario while chasing. Unless one from top 3 bats till 45th over, we will never chase down anything over 280-285

But he has them other players, who will sacrifice themselves for Thala and go after the bowlers based on direction of Thala, while he will wait for the choosen one whom he will target for those 1-2 overs beetle 1

Bhai look at the 3rd odi against Australia where we made total of 230 look like we weee chasing 350 where we needed a cameo from jadhav to win the match for us.

neel roy Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 In a tight chase I would love to see Pandya at no 4.Its worth a gamble.He won us two games against australia.Its a high risk strategy but you have rayudu,jadhav,Dhoni to follow even if he fails
