Its going to sound we are cry babiesif we ask someone(ICC) to leave Pakistan out of the tournament.

 

Ideally big guys don’t do that and we are the bigger guys here by far. Its better to just leave the tournament ourselves and not play Pakistan at all.  That is way better fo make a statement  instead of attitude of that of a whining kid who goes around asking elders to make sure the other kid gets beating for doing bad.

 

Its time for India and BCCi to act and show they are serious about making a statement and not just drama queens who will just feed the trolls or continue to play Pak everywhere and just make big statements.

the problem is towards what end, will we start playing others after the tournament? eventually, we are asking ICC to decide between india and pakistan.

IMO India forfeiting that game is just a bonus for them. We have to hit them where it will hurt the most. Salary, standing in the game and calling out their nefarious reputation in the world stage.

Following is what will happen eventually and we can discuss our theories all day as we like.

 

- India will end up playing Pak in league stage and will beat them.

- Indian fans will rejoice, burst firecrackers on beating Pak.

- Pak won’t reach semis like India will. And we won’t face them again.

- India will win the cup and then all will be forgotten - few fans will say world cup final was fun but beating Pak in the league stage is the memory they will never forget.

- Average Indian who is wanting India to not play against Pak will forget that It is not just BCCi’s job to make statement against Pak. It is also the government’s job to make a statement against Pak. Sports won’t do shyt but we must take action at political level and call the g20 nations if we really want to make a statement.  Again its not BCCi’s job only.

World Cup is too far. The way i see it, I am hopeful that “officially”, Pakistan will pull out of tournament in protest to India’s response.

This is a good move. Why should we give them free points by boycotting the pool match, better to remove them from WC. Need to make more such noise internationally, make the world choose between Ind and Pak. Easier to accomplish in sports like cricket and kabaddi because we largely fund the governing bodies. Our withdrawal from this year's WC and blanket ban on domestic broadcast will hit ICC hard. 

 

First things first, why hasn't BCCI released a statement that all those involved in PSL are banned from IPL...or something to that effect. I checked that ABDV, Watson, Russell, Pollard, Ronchi, Braithwaite etc are taking part in their league...they can not have it both ways.

2016 Kabaddi World Cup was held in India and we (IKF dominated by us with Indians at the helm...they took the call) banned Pak from participating. So there is precedent, time for BCCI to grow a spine. Opposition will be tougher in cricket led by host nation England, but BCCI has the money and power...just need the guts and conviction.

Always keep in mind: Pakistanis are a beghairat qaum, PCB is a beghairat board, PCB patron-in-chief is their PM who is a beghairat bhikhari cum India hater.

 

In short not happening...onus is on us. Try level best to oust them from WC....if it fails break away from ICC and form a parallel cricket body. Latter option isn't unheard of in professional sports and we have enough financial muscle and clout to make it a successful venture.

No way ICC will remove Pak from WC...let us be realistic. If we truly want to protest then we should be ready to skip the tournament. Doing half ass stuff of not playing in league but in SF or knockout makes no sense.

If we are not allowed to participate, India too should not be allowed to participate. We have cleared all terrorist activities long time back and teams are now visiting Pakistan for bilateral series. If Icc take that into count, there are such activities have happened in the past in India too. Eg- Mumbai bomb blast in 2008 and next day England went home. 

 

I know India is already scared of losing because they know they have no mauka mauka this time. We are the only balanced side and strongest contender to lift 2019 WC.
