Discuss and vote. Poll closes on April 30th. You are on an agenda man. You are constantly trying to convince that Rohit and Dhawan have to be replaced . All the options are bad. But from this IPL, nobody has sucked more than Rayudu. Have to say Pappu has played better than the others. What has this world come to. Rohit is next with the xfactor but hasnt been able to come up with the goods. Dhawan is in terrible form. Rayudu is just sh1t

Rayudu is just sh1t yes. India has 4 bowlers that will start the line up certainly. None of them can bat. So they have to come up with 7 batsmen who has the ability to start well, build and also accelerate. IT is quiet a challenging task to play 50 overs just with 7 batsmen. someone
Rahane has got to the winner. How is he any different than Pujara? Pujara should ask that to IPL teams and get a contract... vvvslaxman

The Realist
This IPL has shown that the Ind old guard is way past its sell by date and just block the emergence of young talent. someone, nevada and zen

One issue is that Rohit blocks perfectly hittable balls (rather than dispatching them for runs) and puts himself/his team under pressure, then premeditates to hit a random ball and gets out! Watching this fatman dutifully block deliveries during the power play is such an eyesore! He is the antithesis of the exciting opener. As discussed, a key issue is that Rohit blocks perfectly hittable balls, which is criminal esp. in the age when batsmen get run out in trying to even steal a single! He has made a reputation of he can cover it later just like Dhongi has made up taking it to deep. Both the approach looks amazing when that clicks, but those days are rarity..Rohit escapes criticism most of the time because of Kohli coming up after him.. Rohit is a lucky fellow, give that opening position to any capable batsman, most will excel. I have said it before, Rohit in middle order will be a greater liability than present washed up Dhoni with his dot balls. Onus is on Rohit to change perceptions in this world cup and score runs when it matters.

His conversation rate is not that great esp. for someone who bats in that fashion .... Only Kohli, our best and most consistent batsman, if required, should have the licence to bat like that

speedheat
So many duds are there in options that I actually forgot who I voted. Nevertheless, from Mumbai's point of view it has to be Rohit. His appetite for dot balls is directly proportional to size of his belly. Destroys our power play....
