He looked quicker than ferguson .

why couldnt any ind coach sort it out in all these years ,our pacers have poor techniques thanks to these coaches .

He has been to MRF trained under McGrath and even they haven't done it . Jofra Archer probably has the same style.

Question is ...  Why  ?

This is supposed to be a fundamental thing.

Too many MRF Pace foundation trainees have significant issues with either run up or action or both.

But by the look.of things it doesn't look.much of a issue rather it can be easily changed by Prasidh which will only suit him without much effort ,even through naked one can point out that his follow through is not sorted out,and can be corrected in no time, rightly pointed out by Brett Lee,he can bowl a little more quicker and he said its not a major change which he has to go through ,these are minor technical tweaks which can fetch you positive results alongwith more pace

It is incomplete probably because he decelarates at the end of his run up.

not that is not the reason.  deceleration is not uncommon but Prasidh kind of follow through his uncommong among pacers.  His right leg dopes no go across after delivering the ball and stays in line of left leg which does not have much to do with deceleration.

He needs to pick wickets. Doubt if he has taken even 1 wicket pet match this IPL.  Specialist bowlers who open the bowling innings should be much more threat than he is. Otherwise it is wastage of new ball.

Personally,  I found it it difficult to complete my action in the phase when I decelarated  near the end of my run up.  So ... it could be one of the reasons, although not necessarily so.

Those are quality lead dog bowler stats.  ER shows opponents were batting 'safe' against him.  Wickets show that he gave breakthroughs against 'safe' batting.

Prasidh in his first Ranji match this season, after returning from injury

Ist innings ... 2 wickets for just 7 runs

2nd innings ... 4 Wickets for 45 runs

Total of 6 wickets for just 52 runs.

Superb comeback !!

He bowled with pace, bounce, hostility, accuracy, outswing and seam movement both ways.

Should be picked for next series.

Yes ... pick him for ODIs, which is his strongest format.

Bumrah needs to be rested after a gruelling NZ tour.

Bring in Prasidh in his place in the upcoming ODI series vs SA.
