sage Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 He's subtly calling out Thala. Most he can do Unstable Joe 1
SK_IH Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 (edited) Rashid Khan had gone for 25 in 4 overs , gave away only 13 in his next 6 and today Fabian Allen had given 34 in 5 overs, only 18 in next 5. MS Dhoni can't be so defensive against the spinners. Edited June 28, 2019 by SK_IH sage and Unstable Joe 2
nevada Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 We should try sending in Hardik early to take advantage of spin bowling. He is probably the only one in the team who can hit spin bowling for six without stepping out of the crease. The other batsmen seem too scared to use footwork to tackle spinners. Stepping out doesn't have to be just for taking a mighty heave at the ball; it can be used to drive the ball on the ground. The main purpose is to upset the bowler's rhythm and make him change the length.
mishra Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Our Super stars are doing there best to put Indian team under pressure. Tendulkar Sehwag and rest. STFU. If you guys don’t know what to say, dont speak Real McCoy 1

Dhoni would have played slow but Sachin's comment seemed to rattle him when he tried to come down the wicket and the missed stumping. He played even more slowly after that. Thats not his method. He tries to get singles when under pressure not go after the bowling. mishra 1

The problem is that. he is not able to rotate the strike against spinners. he was never know for maneuvering the ball against spin as his wrist work was never great but he could hit them out at will in the past and that was his strength against spin so bowlers knew they could not bowl loose ball and now as a result of shortened backlift, only thing he does against spin is lunge forward and either defend back to bowler or hope that ball tickles somewhere into the gap to take a single and in that process, he usually plays 3-4 dots before he could get a single. velu, Unstable Joe, DHONI_FANN and 4 others 7

What can some expect when you are allready 3 down. Its not 5 match bilateral series where you go boom boom boom as you have seen the oppositiin. Every opposition is different playing on different pitch. After that bang bang start, looks like 2 weeks of rain has totally altered the wicket quality. Every team is trying to score around 270-290 Bhaiyya and velu 2
R!TTER Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Actually the rain hampered pitch preps in the last week or two, if it doesn't rain for the next week or so expect better scoring pitches - unless the ICC reuses the strips or stops watering them altogether.
Nikhil_cric Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Very poor against spinners. Couldn't even score against bloody Fabian Allen.
asterix Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 (edited) <Bashit Ali Mode> Kohli was full of praise yesterday of Dhoni. He also acknowledged that he’s slow but the TM trusts him. Kohli totally depends on Dhoni for infield captaincy hence he doesn’t has any options other than backing Dhoni. Also the team is banking on Dhoni to ensure that it fails to win the WC. So far bowlers are bailing out the team. They are bound to fail in upcoming matches. Team India is not supposed to win this WC. It’s only remit us to us to qualify and generate as much money for ICC as possible. There’s a reason it’ll tagged as favourite to win the title and then do the KLPD in the finals like CT2017. People will love favourite India to fail at the last hurdle.. And Dhoni is very important in that scheme of failure... He’s honing his “skills” in these matches... Also practicing to screw up as WK and miss chances... India is supposed to win the next WC in India. It can’t be allowed to win this time and in 2023... If that happens fans of other teams and teams will start protesting and won’t play the game... The game is to make as much money as possible using Team India and its public... Team India is that Bakra (Sacrificial Lamb) which ICC likes to feed well and become fat for Halaal in the finals... </Bashit Ali Mode> Edited June 28, 2019 by asterix velu, Number, Jimmy Cliff and 2 others 4 1
