These guys, their groundstaff themselves didnt have many equipment and were very slow. They didn't look passionate about the game as didnt hurry to cover the ground. All very lazy...

they were thinking of getting back to their fish 'n chips asap.

Boring world cup continues

This is pretty much repeat of 1999 England WC

Joke of a competition

Pretty much. And playing key games in northern cities like Manchester where it rains more often than not is abysmal scheduling.

oh, the salt.

Always with the salt - greenbros can't help themselves.

if the world has a paucity of salt, they can serve as the global suppliers.

I enjoyed Ramiz’s rant. Lol Its like seeing a kid pick up a camera crying to public of how some bully treated him.

If Ramiz batted as well as he can rant, he would have been Pak's best batsman :giggle:

Agreed. Lol

I was not old enough nor was I into cricket during the time of 1992 World Cup. So never got to see him bat. Always knew he was a personality of cricket. Have mad respect for how he carries himself in it. Never knew he was a terrible player.

He was quite bad in Tests, but so-so in ODIs: his ODI record is not bad for that time. But I have a lot of respect for the cricketing ability of his brother Wasim based on what I read and saw: an elegant and adept Test bat (whose avg does not do him justice), good fielder, and useful bowler.

Somebody needs to tell Pakistanis that NZ did not make them lose to WI in 10 overs. They should thank their lucky stars that Afghani captain was a moron and they got so many calls from umpires that match. These morons are acting as if they were robbed of something.

What eyeballs is he talking about India and Pakistan. India has beaten Pakistan to pulp so many times and yet these morons talk as if India vs Pakistan means something. No it does not mean anything as Pakistan is crappy team.

If Pakistani treated cricket between India Pak that important, they wouldn’t hire a plane to fly over Leeds stadium with Kashmir message.

They dont give a damn. For them Kashmir is worth killing Indian civilians and forces.

These r overreactions. It rains all around the world and there really is very little u can do when it does. The drainage in the ground and how to handle the pitch, when it rains is of course open to discussion (like what happened in the ind nz group game) but other than that, there isn’t much one can do. The grass is also mostly green on the other side. A lot of previous World Cup knockouts had weather interruptions as well (1992 semi beteeen eng and nz, 2003 semi between aus and sl, 2007 final between aus and sl, 2015 semi between nz and sa), and many others went down as poor/one sided for various reasons (1975 semi between eng and aus, 1996 semi between ind and sl, 1999 semi between pak and nz, final between aus and pak, 2003 semi between ind and ken, semi between aus and sa, 2007 semi between aus and sa, 2015 final between aus and nz). This game is not over yet and may still turn out to be a classic. Or not

Only from Indian point of view , stadiums were empty after SA exit. If just subcontinent viewers are taken into account then UAE is best.

I'm talking overall. The pitch, conditions, atmosphere ,etc.  It's always fun to watch cricket in SA.
