beetle Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Kashmir is more than money to them. It is political . Besides how can anyone trust Pakistan and Pakistanis. What is the guarantee they will not find another reason to keep terrorism alive? It is now there culture. They have been fed by USA for decades and we all know how they paid them back. It is stupid to trust a poisonous snake. It is like throwing money away. adi B, AuxiliA, Laaloo and 3 others 6

It is stupid to trust a poisonous snake. It is like throwing money away. If not Kashmir, they would find another reason - the continued conflict and hostility with India, allows the Pakistan military to control the entire country, allows the top generals not just political power, but immense resources and money. In perpetuity. Why would an entity accept a 'truce', when it can benefit so much by continuing to fight, at minimal risk to itself? The only way that there will be "peace" between India and Pakistan, is if the entire Pakistan nation state including its military mafia, unanimously understands that continuing conflict with India is too expensive. The costs and risks have to be heavy, and direct. As it stands, the confederacy of feudal zamindars wearing uniforms, have little risk, personal or financial, from the on-going conflict. It simply is irrelevant to them that the Pakistani national budget is in crisis, or that millions of Pakistanis are suffering badly, having to pay 350 rupees for tomatoes. Its not their problem. Our Rangeela bhai is well intentioned, but he doesn't understand that throwing money at such a problem changes nothing. They will take the money and continue their dhandhaa. Pak military elite and ruling class make money out of hatred of India, the false India bogey and the Kashmir card .. ...we give them the payday of a lifetime ..and take physical control of Kashmir.....they will make chutya out of their awam anyway to justify them giving away Kashmir It may sound illogical to you...but i think it is a better solution considering the economic **** that Pak is in and their desperation Under_Score 1

We have to pay the price for our many follies in the past, the biggest of them being: 1) If Kashmir is 'our land' as you put it, why did Nehru go to UN in 1947 ..why did we not sort out Pak and extend the war till entire kashmir was captured. Whose fault was that ? 2) Why did we sign a retarded Shimla agreement in 1971 where we had 90000+ soldiers at our mercy and PoK could have been military ceased from a defeated army whose moral was destroyed. Whose fault was that ? 3) Why did we do nuclear testing in 1998 before ceasing Kashmir by force physically ? Our tests gave legitimacy to Pak's test and gave them a nuclear deterrence to make up for conventional inferiority. Whose fault was that ? Fortunately for me, even as a pimply teenager, I was more well read than you will ever be. With us disintegrating Pak in 1971 and doing Pokharan 1 in 1974, while Pak was firmly in the US camp - do you think US intelligence and Pak intelligence would not know what is cooking wrt our program ? Pak started their nuclear program soon after 1974 Pokhran and would have continued to try and make progress to achieving weapons grade capability even if we did not do Pokhran 2. It is us who stupidly egged Pak to join this race before physically taking over Kashmir and now have given them a parity giving nuclear deterrent. sergio04 and Under_Score 1 1
