English cricket has moved on from Root and here India we are stuck with a perennial failure like Dhawan. It's these deeply entrenched cultural issues which will never let India dominate in cricket.

Looking at the paucity of talent in our domestic cricket Dhawan is a must in the LOI sides. He along with Sharma and Kohli helps us punch above our weight in ICC Tournaments.

and joe root avg far better then dhawan in t20 and has become a handy bowler....

he got a beating in t20 series and has been poor in whole t20 career 

 

jadeja s/r in t20 is 98.8 and he bats in lower order and understand his selection

There is plenty of talent in India. Anyways Dhawan is not a T20 batsman.

dhawan has been a failure in t20 Wc...i think his s/r is under 90 in t20 Wc

Both times he was dropped midway in Wc
