He is just an illiterate gaon waala who I think just tries to play it to the galleries. I remember a show during one of the Ind-Pak takra type bs we see before WC's where he started the whole Indians are cowards rhetoric and Sunil Gavaskar was on that show as well. Sunny kept his calm and praised Javed as one of the grittiest fighters he has seen on a cricket field and Javed literally got emotional and started with the whole "Aaj tak Chunny bhai aul Viv Lichards se bada batsmen cliket me nahi aaya" and "main Chunny bhai ka balla phan tha" . You see it with youtube shows as well the patronizing of Indian cricket by some Pakistani-Ex cricketers. They may not mean what they say but clearly the hatred and contempt is an act just like the love for Indian cricket. They are just trying to get with their lives. However the biggest problem is with some one like Imran Khan. He was a role-model for most Pakistanis. He was western-educated and could speak English which was probably a first for Pakistanis. He hung around with the social crowd. Now this supposedly educated man comes in makes random theories like genetic superiority and justifying things like ball-tampering and a whole generation of delusional Pakistanis bought this bs. Just basic common sense, Pakistan's 3 fastest bowlers Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib are all Punjabis who share the same genes as their Indian counterparts, what genetic superiority did STD Khan see in them? Imran the PM has nothing to do with this as he is a dunce but I am not even going into his political career. He did a lot of damage to Pak cricket which obviously I don't give a fk about, however his smug look while spewing his bs as if some know it all messiah of cricket pisses me off. Mushfiqur - very childish and silly. Miandad got kicked once by Lillee. There are videos on YouTube of that.

Sanga has turned out to be one of the best analysts out there and bonus he lost his British accent after living in England. redeemed himself. McGrath comes across as one of the nicest guys out there since his retirement and a guy who devotes his life to charity cannot be unlikeable. Nikhil_cric Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Generally disliked the cocky attitude of certain Pakistani cricketers like Shoaib and ajmal who were useless without tampering/chucking. The Aussies sledged and were the pits at times but they backed it up with real ability atleast.

But that's what makes me respect guys like Damien Martyn, Jason Gillespie even more - lionhearted quality players, who weren't @d$holes. As players, I detested Ponting, Fleming, Sanga and Nasser, but love them after retirement. Mushfiq Rahim, is another player, who with his performances has a legit case to make as a 'great', but is a small person and I am not talking about his height. Getting back to Greenbros, their smarmy ignorant fake pseudo-superiority complex was too institutionalized in the 90s to really blame it on one person, so putting that aside, there weren't many 'hate-worthy' players. Miandad of course, but hes an idiot anyway.
