All Indian captain have lost shine as they headed into 2nd yr of captaincy. That said most of these captains also had a die hard support group take dada or dhoni as a fan you would either love them or hate as captain. Virat is the first Indian captain (almost everyone still loves Virat the batsman) who doesnt have a support group, his captaincy is universally hated.

virat's treatment of younger players - and any experienced player that isn't dhawan, rohit sharma or dhoni - leads me to believe that virat is trying to restrict the growth of any strong personalities within the dressing room.

 

there's no other explanation. pant, rahane, karun nair (remember him), even KL rahul should have played more matches by now.

Kohli is the captain since 2015 in tests, since 2017 in ODIs.

Even Nidhas trophy.... Has Kohli been captian Dhoni would have played last over instead of Karthik and he also would have hit last ball six, but that was the only six which he might have hit.

We lost asia cup final to Pakistan when kohli was captain. He had ashwin bowl last over and afridi hit him for 2 sixes
