Stuge Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 (edited) Can we see old Dhoni of IPL back in form to change fortunes for CSK. Edited October 2, 2020 by Stuge speedheat 1
zen Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Ideally, a team looks to win 8 games to have an improved chance of making it to the last 4. CSK has won 1 in 4, which means need to win 7 of 10 .... So the question is more like can CSK win 7 out of the next 10 games? Real McCoy 1
Forever Indian Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Not happening with these Oldies XI. Will be happy if we avoid LKC and finish above RCB.
Laaloo Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 It was shameful to see him stop playing because he was tired and not injured. And then hits the next ball for a 6. The 19th over started 35 minutes before the game ended. Chuskis using their usual tricks. Stan AF, Rasgulla, Real McCoy and 2 others 2 3
New guy Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Its going to be very difficult this time around. Most chennai players seem to be struggling and the plans don't seem to be coming through

I don't think CSK has it in them to win 7 out of 10. They had a week to assess their position and they still lost. This season is gone. Never had any hopes to begin with. CSK has always been a front runner. They usually win the starting games and keep their tempo throughout the tournament. That is one of the keys for making playoffs consistently.
nevada Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I think yesterday's match was a true reflection of where Dhoni and CSK stand.Yet again he tried to win by taking it deep but fell short. He has to change his mindset of spiking the asking rate leaving 55-60 to score in the last 3 overs.
