Only Tewa.

Tewa is mentally tougher with far greater ability against pace and spin, he has shown that he can absolutely smoke Pacers and what he did against on song Rashid yesterday was simply unbelievable something these axar faxars can only dream of.

Sundars batting is relatively untested, but he can also play as specialist spinner in place of Kuldeep since he has lost form.

Ranking

1. Axar is the most miser one

2. Krunal is 2nd best , he has a knack of performing in clutch games. He also has troubled top batsman in ipl. But i feel his bowling is more suitable for pacy pitches which is why he has done well in overseas

3. Tewatia - he is a leggie , leggie always gets wkts

4. Sundar - his bowling is fully effective on slow low pitches

In terms of batting

All 3 better then krunal

My choice for t20 wc in india - axar

My choice for t20 wc in aus - krunal

Tewatia first have to be given a try

choosing among them shud be considered with all other factors

  • variety for eg if we have yuzi n kuldeep or ashwin, then a left arm spinner is better so krunal or axar
  • We need batting for sure so axar, sundar, tewatia gets prizes. If opp team doesnt have pace then krunal also
  • Fielding - one aspect where jaddu scores but he doesnt score anywhere else
  • Batting form
  • Matchups - see which bowler has trouble opposition batsman

Have all rounders till No. 8, give away 300+ runs and then choke again in a knockout game.

Giving away 300+ runs in T20s (the topic of this thread), now that is some imagination!

In t20s, bowlers who can contain batsmen are gold. I go for Sundar based on recent performances. I was tempted to vote for Tewatia for his game sense and hitting 6 at will but but he also struggled against international bowlers like Bumrah and Rabada. If I had a choice I would pick both of them in the squad. Jaddu needs to go. he can celebrate swordfights after he scores 300 against Undercutter in ranji

Edit: other options are krunal and axar. do i need to explain any further :rotfl:

None tbh ,but out of these option Sundar is the only Spin AR I'd pick for long term.

He can bowl in both PPs and middle overs .

Rest are all bang average bowlers in front of quality attacks

True that Sundar seems to be doing quite good bowling in power play as well. That gives some added advantage for his selection.

Tewatia though has a much better power game than Sundar.

Whether both of them can replicate their strengths at international level is something that needs to be tested out. Perhaps give both of them some chance in forthcoming series.

Pretty much. Anyone but Jadeja though as a decade of under achievement is enough.

I'm just spitballing here. Sundar might be ahead of the pecking line. As it is his proximity with RCB puts him directly in the captain and team management's radar.

Jadeja & Krunal have already been tried. Hasn't axar already been tried by the team? Tewatia will surely get a game in the near future.
