ye kab hua ?

In ipl he was hitting sixes, has won csk many matches as a finisher. Batted like a superstar in wc semis in difficult condition.

I said then only he does this in IPL then back to sq in international, its happens every yr ppl shud kow it by now

those semi final innings has a logic , jadeja has a pattern

  • he scores when he has 15-20 overs left, check most of his 50s in ODI so was the case today but another key is RRR
  • If RRR is around 6-7 its manageable for him if he is set, but when its around 8-10 its out his zone. This is why does well in test and suck t20 ...he panics n tries to hard and ends up loosing his bat shape

That Dhoni game vs West Indies where he managed to take a 60 from 60 balls chase down to the wire before losing in 2017. Scored 50 off 110 balls if memory serves me right. can't say for sure since my eyes were red and blood pressure skyrocketing

Right.. Jaddu should have swung hi bat like Virat, Mayank, Rahul, Dhawan to look like someone whos intent was to win game cause clearly jaddus slow batting is what lost us the game big time.

Yeah we should be greatful that he didn't get out quickly and played out the fifty overs, that nrr will be very useful for us

A worthy reminder. Took 41 balls to score his 1st 50 when the asking rate was 9.4 rpo.

Lost the game right there! Maybe they are spoilt by successful 55-60 run chases in the last 3 overs in the IPL. Such games are an outlier but these guys have made a template out if it, batting in ODI style for 15-16 overs and hoping for a flourish at the end which is more often a flush instead.

Steve Smith's innings in second T20I is a good entry

Absolutely! Gotta give credit where it is due! Even the Darcy Short innings in the first T20 is also eligible.
