I see no issues with it. At times, teams are stationed in dugout just near the boundary so do pass messages.

I approve of this. What’s the point in all the advancements in technology and data science, hiring army of expensive coaches and  top of the notch statisticians/analysts if you can’t use them when you really need them.

 

Only negative if anything , makes the role of a captain useless.

 

In fact other advantage is this can speed up the game from “strategic” drinks breaks to get dressing room messages.

I am sure there are top of the line analysts in the Indian side too, which brings me to the obvious question what is the point of Shastri leave alone paying him millions $$$. 
 

Even if the argument is made that he is a great man-manager,  Given all the frustration and anger in all the recently retired cricketers, team not having a clue about senior  players’ retirements, Kohli-Rohit fight etc etc  is not exactly a shining example of man-management  either.

its just a gimmick by ecb to scare other teams, I doubt it will ever work. I mean what does the analyst guy suddenly crack in the middle of the game that he hasn't discovered before the game started?

Tennis is an individual sport. Team sports require more on going strategies. We see this all the time in American sports NFL,NBA,MLB or even soccer. These things will make cricket more exciting, strategies and counter strategies instead of “chakka kha ke dikha” etc, which have their own charm I must admit but we need to evolve

what exciting the whole thing looks like a bunch of robots bumping into each other. At least let the coach stand near the boundary line and scream at players if we want to copy other sports, will be entertaining to watch. American sports are completely devoid of any charm or soul

You find it robotic because you are not invested in them as a fan. You ask a fan of those sports, they will find cricket the most boring sport in the world. 
 

Also you find random unofficial drink breaks for dressing room messages or captaincy of guys like Kohli who just follow a set template more exciting?

Kohli can't use them effectively doesn't mean they don't work. Do you think kohli will listen to some nerd on bluetooth advicing him whole day? one advice gone wrong he will mc bc the guy and tell him to f off

 

I just don't want to see people in dressing room dictating every move players make on field whole day. let them feed any advices during breaks
