SecondSlip Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Self explanatory. They always do better than us in England with the bat and have done better in the current NZ as compared to when we went there.
jf1gp_1 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 I congratulate Pakistan for this remarkable feat. sandeep and Jimmy Cliff 2
Lone Wolf Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 No doubt.. They batted well in Australia as well compared to us. Their bowling is ultra minnow level though

Austin 3:!6 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 They played on flat pitches. This was a flat pitch too. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Serpico Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 yeah lol thats why they are languishing at no.7 in rankings. last time yasir shah got a fluke 100 when the match was already done and dusted. their top order batsmen except babar, were much more pathetic. azhar ali scored some 30 runs across 4 innings
Serpico Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 unless you want to bring in yasir shah for ashwin or faheem ashraf for siraj this is silly reaction. Our bowlers do their primary job better and our top order is still not as bad as pakistani top order.. you want to feel bad, compare our team with England.. they definitely bat better in aus/nz/south africa than ours. pakistan is at the edge of test status now, there is no point in comparison at all Frustrated 1

Went back to ashes and there were 9 times england was all out in an inning. Avg score 288. Lowest was 180 highest 491. India on the other hand (with 36ao) avg 212 per inning (min 36) avg 271. which isnt bad considering we dont have kohli

Sandeep99 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Still doesn’t help them to even draw matches. What use?
Nikhil_cric Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Our batting looks exceptionally weak. Pakistani batsmen performed better in NZ and that was without Babar. That should send alarm bells ringing . Unfortunately, this will keep on happening and nobody really cares. This will all be forgotten by the next IPL :)
ravishingravi Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Gill Dhawan Pujara Virat Rahane Rohit This should be top 6. This is not a weak batting line up.

That's not a weak batting lineup . That's a trash batting lineup. Dhawan and Rohit in SENA tests? Lol. Rahane averages 35 since England series 2016. Vk1, Frustrated, jusarrived and 1 other 3 1

If the objective is to win in the mediocre state of world cricket, you don’t need batters of 55 plus average. you only need functional batter who will cross 300 for the team with some degree of assurance. perhaps you are still stuck in old ways of operating.
Number Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 They actually do but invariably collapse in the crucial session and lose the game.
kubrickian Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Is that why they havent won a test match in Australia for over 25 years ? Rubbish thread but then again this is the norm in ICF.
