Will English bowlers outbowl Indian bowlers in first inning of Chennai test?

Eng will have its tail up. A few good balls and some nice catches can mean a good position at the end of Day 3 ... Ind of course is playing at home so will look to fight hard

You just need four  good balls ... to get to pant ... pant is no good in the first innings .: after that its free fall .... even if the top three score 100’s and pujara scores 200 ball 50 . The rest of team don’t inspire confidence to even make 100 together apart from sundar ... so ultimately I think sundar will be key ... we may end up scoring 475 with 125 lead with one more day .. England will go for it and score 125... leaving us 250 in two sessions .... we will come out swinging but shut shop once we lose pant .. ash and sundar will bat for a draw and England will have a moral victory pushing India hard ... on to the second test which will be a spin mamba because srini mama will have a word with the curator ..

Bess, Anderson, Archer - all of them outbowled Ashwin, Bumrah, Ishant by some margin.

Not exactly. It's more of our premium ATG batsman Kohli have forgotten how to bat, ATG batsman Rohit, whose talent is greater than sum of fab 5, can't hold the bat if faced with a good bowling line-up and middle order constant Rahane typically reserves his 1 innings per series wonder for the second or third tests.

Our bowling and fielding lapses are often overlooked due to crap batting.

Eng were better in bowling/fielding but Bess in particular wasn't unplayable.

The fab 4 that were brought up in comparison, this guy would be right arm wicketless and not the lead wicket taker.

Our catching has been *ing god awful since at least 2015, we've dropped more sitters against Eng back in 2016 & yet we won - mainly due to Jadeja. The point is what the * is Sridhar still doing here :motz:

Well, extras: India have 45, Eng gave 6

India gave 20 no-balls

So in discipline wise, Engalnd ahead by a mile.

India gifted nearly a half century
