Maybe the ball/atmosphere/cosmic forces were conspiring against proud husband and the ball after getting keeper's pad and going in front of stumps did a u turn with no visible external impact to hit the stumps

BTW this guy dint review in wc and trusted his lover boy Amir and umpire when he dint even knicked it and here he surprised as if keeper dislodged the stump syas about this guy attitude.

That review saved an over in the end, look at the broader  picture. He was wasting time and Pant in the end was also inspired to waste time. What a leader of men!

 

He also wanted to watch the replay of his dismissal on the big screen while being on the pitch. , so he can learn from it and make amends for the next innings. Doora drishti, there’s your perspective

Kohli is an arrogant, self-unaware blowhard.   Him standing around throwing his superstar weight caused the ump to be intimidated and call for the big screen.  That is on the umpire.  If this was Steve Smith or Labuschagne, I'd be up in arms calling for their heads and the umpire's head.  But Kohli may be an a-hole, but he is *our* a-hole.  I want him to play 300 balls and score massively every time he walks out.  I want him to make all the right captaincy moves and be the most successful captain ever.  Because that means India is winning!  After he retires, I'd want the next guy to surpass him and so on ...

The umpire clearly told Ganguly to hit the road.  The newbie umps in this case didn't have the cojones to do that.

He reviewed it against another buddy Moeen bhai though. See he is neutral.

Sorry to say this but Indian umpires are a disgrace, and the fact that Rahane was given not out when the ball hit his gloves just proves why Indians are the most biased.

 

Luckily England got his wicket,, and that review was reinstated, seemed to me like the Indian umpire's were cheating,  even the stumped decision  was out.

 

Was watching a documentary and all those no balls in the 1st Test and the pitches rolled out so far seems to be match fixing.

The Indians umpires aren't biased, they are just incompetent. Pant was wrongly given out caught behind too, before he reviewed it. Also that stumping wasn't controversial at all. It was a 50-50 call, could have gone either way.

The no balls seem very, very shady. I am surprised there's been no talk about the fixing angle regarding them.

Yep, that too a spinner bowling so many no balls, the pitches too seem like pitch fixing not just the first test and also the second.
