Logic behind 3 spinners in a pink ball test?

I know Washington is playing as an allrounder but still- 3 spinners in a day night pink ball test with only 2 seamers, has this ever happened before?

 

Where is at least Hardik Pandya in the 3rd seamer role?

Makes sense if all 3 are bowling, I don't see Sundar bowling much here!

Spot on selections , three spinners is a right call on this pitch. All five bowlers don't have to bowl in first session. Some people have to complain about everything.

I want to see the performance of seamers in the post tea session under twilight. So far both seamers were innocuous for the most part of 1st session.

Why defensive bro? I thought pink ball and d/n conditions were seamer friendly. Don’t think 3 full tile spinners have played a pink ball test before.

I am not defensive at all, after seeing the pitch it is the right call. It is not the same Kolkatta pitch against Bangladesh.I am more impressed with spinners getting wickets with Pink ball.This will be huge moving forward, India can change their bowling options and pitch according to opposition even with pink ball.

I think it is better to observe the match for 2 days before expressing any opinion either for or against this decision.

He will score runs. 

So this indeed a masterstroke. 

While the other team felt into trap of pace bowling india went with three spinners.
