So chance for IPl stars to showcase their talent in a multi nation tournament...  

Kishan SKY Rana DK(possibly)  & even likes of Paddikal.   Dhawan or Iyer will most probably lead the young side.  Goodamn I am excited for this now...  There are T20s lined up against SL as well in Sri lanka in the same period.

The clash with Pakistan will be interesting.  Hopefully youngsters will thrash them badly.  Also keeping this in mind we should give chances to Kishan SKY tewatia in coming T20s vs England..  So that they gain some sorta experience at International level.  IPl will also be critical.  Overall a good decision by BCCI to test the depth of Indian cricket.  Hopefully they send a better squad than the Nidahas trophy one.  Good performers with good potential.

I have a feeling that for T20s, our "second string" batting unit might even be better than the "first choice" lineup

They will be with Test side...  Maybe Pandya will be with Asia Cup one..  KL will be part of extended squad over there due to Quarantine rule.

Yep our second string batting is defo better than our first string batting. Bowling obviously first 11 team has better players.

But Kishan & Tewatia are selected for England how come guys like Paddikal suddenly jump the queue especially with someone like Kishan who has big hitting game.  The above side will put me to sleep. Also no way Bumrah will be there

No place for Chahal,all evidence suggests that we need whatever batting depth we get

Parag and Samad might raise some eyebrows but these guys are the future unless you want to send Jadhav and Manish Pandey in the name of experience

Probably broadcaster pressure is the reason Asia Cup will be held..  No one wants to miss out an India Pak clash..  Regardless of how Teams look.  Overall it promises to be a cracker.  Lanka BD Afg all will be pushing for a spot in the Final.  Tournament will be fiercely contested.

Rahul will be in test squad. So forget him. It will really be a C Side as 70 perc T20 play test cricket.

Above all have international cricket experience and they can easily make the set 11 with above 13. Bhuvi Natrajan Chahar can rival any team in the world in t20s let alone Pakistan Lanka BD. 

Now we can have Ashwin and Rahane picked to be captain ( Ashwin would be a good captain in my opinion)

Devdatt Padikkal

Rahul Tewatia

Nitish Rana ( I hope he plays well in IPL)

Abhishek Sharma ( i have high hopes for him. Second faster List A centurion of all time for India)

Prasidh/ Tyagi based on how they bowl. 

 

I don’t realistically see anyone else getting a look in. Riyan Parag is a long shot. Chahar above Bishnoi in pecking order. Wild card pick as a batsman maybe Dube/Mandeep Singh as they have played t20 s for India. All depends on ipl performance..
