Kohli poorest captain

So we all felt in England u need swing bowlers . Siraj and shardul were made for these conditions . We just won the most difficult series in Australia thanks to siraj .

why is it wrong to pick players based on recent form . ? Why doesn’t kohli understand this simple fact . How dumb is he ??

example 1 - in World Cup , he just didn’t groom the right middle order . Kedar Jadhav Was at best mediocre . And less said about rayudu , the better . Dhoni was past his sell date by two years .

example 2 - wtc finals . I am very unsure how we are playing without shardul or siraj ?

champions trophy - lost to most novice pak team

can we end kohli the captain now . Until when are we supposed to be without any trophy ? Time for captain Pant or split captaincy . Use Rohit as captain in short formats and pant in tests .

Kohli is counting on a draw and then'll boast how he won an ICC trophy after years of hardwork and playing tough cricket in WTC final

If India plays badly today or tomorrow ,then they deserve to loose for they don't have it in them to go past the final hurdle thanks to their incompetent useless leader,he has no right to lead even for a day after this debacle

The very recent match he led we stooped to a new low in Adelaide,it was blessings of some sorts that he left in time and we bounced back

Moment he left Indian seniors took the responsibility and pulled out venturous efforts that will be talked about for decades to come

even the hardcore clown fangirls know that,he looses it well before the real game begins by his stubborn egoistic foolish decisions, his selections are perfect example of "donts",after all these years in international cricket he has no understanding of the game ,he has become a huge pain for us fans

India winning the recent series in Australia without Kohli, highlights the difference Kohli makes with his presence.

There was plenty of talk about the dressing room being a calm and peaceful place when Kohli left. Speaks volumes about the control he has of Indian cricket.

When Kohli is dumped eventually, there needs to be broad thinking about future Indian captains and how much control they should have. Kohli has proved how dangerous it is for one man to control Indian cricket in all three formats.

Here we go, same old same old.

India is going to win/draw this match and then we will win/draw the test series vs england under Kohli. Wait and watch.

In my opinion most Indian captains were just feelers except dhoni. Atleast in Icc tournaments.Along with that all the 'star' players like Rohit l, bumrah, kohli, etc. . don't perform in knock out matches adding to the ample of wrong decisions taken by team management as well as captains in number of knockout matches. For example :- playing rahane in 2016, bowling first in 2017,. Dhoni sent late plus 3Wks. Dhoni not coming earlier in 2015 plus Raina's poor form against Aus.

The problem runs deep Its just that when it's most required people (captains, TM) take emotional and/or stupid decisions and having a culture where actors/cricketers are worshipped just for doing their job dosent help . I hope the T20 world cup  semi finals has a qualifier round similar to IPL where if the top team loses they get another chance. I also hope our next captain would be rational person and not a feeler like Kohli.

The poor body language on the field was the worst thing to see.

Not one senior player looked comfortable during drinks break when the cameras zoomed on them. I may be reading too much into it but Ashwin himself said how under Rahane the senior players were being consulted regularly. But yesterday, did not see Kohli, Rahane, Rohit, Pujara  and Ashwin talking together even once.

Hope to see a better body language when the match starts again. And FFS, get your senior players involved. Them advising and their strategies working would not make Kohli a poorer captain.

Kohli is uinque in making fans pissed off even before the game begins. I have been mad ever since Thakur was left out of the squad. Got even more pissed off seeing Siraj left out. The sooner Kohli retires, the better it is for team India. I don't buy the "Kohli the batsman is very much needed" argument. The prolific Kohli is gone and the current version is nothing special.

It wasn't just Kohli, what the eff were the 3 veteran pacers doing? Like I said many a times in the past these guys are *ing overrated because of the kind of surfaces they got to bowl on in 2018, FFS Ishant still doesn't know how to control movement or bowl over the wicket

And Shami :hysterical:

both Ishant and Shami were better than Bumrah yesterday :hmmm:

Maybe but being more experienced they should've tried the over the wicket strategy at least more than once in the second session! For nearly 145 years right arm pacers have continued to bowl over the wicket as a key part of getting lefties out, is this so hard for these dumbasses to actually try out in the middle or have analysts completely fried their brains? I of course don't expect much from Ishant, the guy had to be told by Dhoni to try bouncers at Lords 2014

Couldn't he come up with that all by himself, at some point in time :whack:

It's not just his captaincy. His batting has been downright mediocre for a good part of the last 3 years. His 44 here will be extremely overrated and Start Sports will keep playing it for the next 5 years. Lol is a shameful, vile and disgusting human being who will keep jeopardising all the opportunities and our shots at glory.

Sachin is very good captain compare to kohli

Sachin was better than lol but even then he realized he's better off as a batsman and gave up captaincy. This was when the world was at his feet. Can't expect this self assessment and humility from the egomaniac even as he continues to gather defeat after defeat.

Yup Sachin was eager to focus on his batting he did not need to be captain to be face of Indian cricket, for Kohli I think he is scared to step down as he might get overshadowed by the next guy.

For once, I thought Ishant won't be his usual disappoting self because of his career resurgence due to County experience working with coach Gillespie. And they benched Siraj for this medicority.
