It is possible he caught it and spread it around. Saw him on TV watching the Wimbledon final, which was jam packed with mask-less crowds.

It's okay. Can't keep the players in the bubble for 20-30 days doing nothing especially in a county which is mostly open despite cases going up. In Euro also, many players tested positive but the matches went on. 

 

Players were tested on 10th and 14th July before re-entering the bubble to detect and isolate such cases.

 

With 3 more weeks to go before the tests, there is enough time for any other such cases to be found out and isolate the individuals.

That was what was decided. You cannot put players in a bubble for months before a series even starts. Now they will be tested before entering actual bubble before the first test. They have 3 weeks so enough time for players to isolate and recover and others to be in a bubble

No big deal..  Hopefully not many cases.  That Practice game is crucial though & main XI should play that game.

As per media reports, there have two cases.

One unnamed player has already recovered and tested negative.

Pant is the other one, is asymptotic and has been in quarantine at a friend's place for the last 8 days, should recover in the next couple of days

He went to watch the England vs Germany Euro Round 16 match at Wembley on 30th June. Was spotted without a mask (which was not mandatory). Could have got it there.

I'm just confused that they're not letting any other name come out.. suspect there's a big name involved
