Really. It's you who are pretending if you think prime minister didn't have a lavish house before. The project was brought by UPA first while this govt is executing it and the main reason was to increase the size of the parliament to accomodate more people in it and bringing all ministerial offices at one place. Govt already pays rents of 1000 crs for those offices. Long term, they are only going to save that money.

Budget cut is a very important part of sports and people were defending that. But point taken

UPA wasn't facing a pandemic though. So you are saying out of 13000 cr there was no budget cut possible at all during a pandemic but we needed to cut budget of our already lagging behind sports budget?

It will be ready only by 2024. So money is spread over 3-4 budget years. You can do same for sports too.

Yes he did. He is only the third Indian to qualify for Equestrian event in Olympics after Indrajit Lamba (1996) and Imtiaz Anees (2000).

Tomorrow Asian Games Gold medallist for Shot put - Tejinder Singh is up. He has been in good form this year and holds the NR. Poor guy has had a tough journey to the Olympics - Hope he gets some reward for his efforts. 

 

No real expectations given his fractured wrist last year. All the best to him!

I still don't get the sport though. Still all the best to him. Hope his horse and him jump the mud out of the course.

Did very well but messed up at the end. Hopefully can still make the cut for the final.

His "Personal Best" could have won a Silver for us in RIO 2016.

He is no 2 in some jumping now. No idea what that means though
