Only English media is talking about a 'forfeiture'. Don't believe it yet. 

 

Have faith in BCCI. They won't lose this test without playing. Some compromise will be worked out.

My Guess is that the final test match will be played next year.

ECB and BCCI both would be happy with this arrangement.

They have held many series including football with far mode crowds and never had any issues. 

Terms were for cancellation, not forfeiture.

The fact that england held many sports with crowds, including euro trophy with lakhs of crowd without any incident is also lost on them

 

They will blame everyone under the sun except their pampered players. Such fans deserve these spoiled players and such results.

Rigidity in Ipl schedule is because of the T20 wc I assume. If they shift that then it cojldy cut it close. The tournament has already been postponed once

Leave emotions aside. No IPL sets BCCI back by at least 2500-3000 crores (revenue was 4000 cr from 2020 edition). That will be disastrous for BCCI and Indian cricket. The silly coach and captain through their idiocy have out the entire tournament at stake.

 

Even now, expect troubles for IPL. UAE will ask for hard quarantine for all those arriving from England

That's probably the case in if they quarantine close contacts, most of the players will get quarantined.

And that is why I have hated IPL to the core. There are some psychopaths on ICF who defend IPL as if their family reputation depends on it.

Simple way to explain @rkt.india 's views which @Gollum has said many times - take a contrarian line just to oppose the majority view. If most of us were supporting the BCCI/ TM in this case, he would have been bashing them
