pure bullshit

ECB are least interesting in winning. They have obligations to their broadcasters. The match will either go ahead or be rescheduled. simple.

Its reschedule thats issue. Iirc, before start of tournament, India raised covid Related concerns, It also said it will finish IPL as well but ECB forced matches to go as per schedule. It also said it won’t free English players in reschedule IPL window. Basically No change acceptable.

Now covid is here. Shashtri unveiling a book means jackshit. They did it all as per within laws of land. Book unveiling couldn’t have been done without ECB authorities not opposing it.

ECB can not ask to postpone IPL.

Exactly they’re more interested in gaining money than wins on a cricket field!

Are you suggesting that those 2 idiots took time to take ECB permission but overlooked to inform BCCI?
I mean if BCCI is angry now, those 2 idiots can cite ECB permission to escape their wrath?

It's all irrelevant when everything is already normalised in England.

Its NOT irrelevant when you AGREED TO something. Crowd being allowed was AGREED by both boards. Players going out for book signings was NOT agreed.

In the adult world you have to honor agreeemt  you cannot behave like spoilt children, break agreement and then say, but but everything is normal.

Thats not how agreements and adult human beings work.  If you have a problem with crowds raise it BEFORE the series. If you want to go for book signings raise that BEFORE the boom series.

People here are intentionally acting stupid and pretending they dont understand how agreements work

The terms and conditions were agreed beforehand by both boards. Now crying like children and saying if crowds are allowed we can break all rules is stupid

Not for visiting teams or teams involved in tournaments. Else if it’s normal and free for all, no events can be organised. Like the Manchester test can be cancelled. No organiser, no Media promoter, no sponsors will agree to it. What are you talking about?
